Jane Smith: Now that the newly hired employees are about to start training, I am thinking about
organizing a welcome party for them. What are your thoughts?
Mark: I think that’s a good idea. It will give them an opportunity to make friends among their cotrainees. At the same time they can get to know their superiors.
Jane Smith: Yes. Aside from that, it will boost their morale and give them motivation to work.
Mark: Where should the party be held and when?
Jane Smith: Let’s do it two days before their first day of training.
Mark: That will be on June 14. What about the venue? Do you prefer to have it at a hotel or a
restaurant?
